The Tour!

Off the bus and into the Saloon to get out of the rain before the tour begins!

The horses are in the stalls so that folks do not stand in the rain to see them. Karen gives a short lecture on Curly Horse history, types and characteristics in the stall.

Norea helps out! She shows off Magic and Rose, the first Curly foal born in Austria. Thanks Norea for all your assistance!!! We want to also thank Lise Hager for helping us too!

After the Tour - Food and Drink!

After the rain let up, the whole group went for a walk around the grounds and visited the horses out on the pastures. Then it was on to some warming up in the Saloon with a traditional "Jause" or light meal of smoked pork on dark bred, freshly grated horseradish, and pickles. Of course an excellent pear cider and traditional schnapps from the Nussbaumer family are all part of the diggings. Mineral water, Coke and Fanta are also on offer!
