News 2004 January-JuneNote!We now have News in German!!! Wir haben jetzt Nachrichten auf Deustch!!! Updates from the year 2004, months January through JuneNew horses for sale November 22, 2004!! We hit 24,380 visits to our website in February! Thanks to all those who helped us reach such a high visiting rate! We have updated our NEWS (Nachrichten) in German! Please see the German page for the last news. We have also updated the German "Unsere Herde" page with new text for all the horses! New horses are for sale/zum verkaufen! Here Karen has placed the archive for news from the first 6 months of 2004. 20.06.04 We also had a great time yesterday with the folks from the Riding Section of the Bank Austria Creditanstallt! They enjoyed meeting the Curly Horses, hearing about their history and that they are really for allergy sufferers! During a break in the rain, they were able to stroll down to the pasture where Jo Jo and Moon are, and Jo Jo won the day. Afterwards, everyone came back to the rustic wood cabin to enjoy homemade Pear Cider (similar to Cider in England) and small bite to eat (smoked ham sliced on dark brown bread with pickles and horse radish, yummy!) along with some homemade schapps from the Nussbaumers. The visit, despite the weather, was a success! Norea was on hand to help out, and she took a lot of images for us, and also some movies of baby Rose. We'll get them up as soon as we can. We would like to thank Erwin Csekits for bringing by their club to visit! 17.06.04 Ok, ok, ok!! We've done it! Or, at least Magic has. We have a new foal at Curlies Austria, and she is very very pretty. She is a lovely light apricot dun (Falbe) and just fabulous. Karen will be loading pictures up later today. She is now 6 days old and a such a bundle of energy. We have finally decided on a name, she is called Magic's Early Morning Rose. Windy Sue left us this morning and is headed for Wiesbaden, Germany! We had a very nice visit with Joachim H. Schwering and Katharina von Bassewitz, who came to pick her up. They also enjoyed the views from our Farmhouse and Katharina looks forward to coming to see us again in the near future. We wish Windy Sue all the best in her new home. We are expecting 35-40 Bankers Saturday! We'll be doing a little riding and showing off the horses for this group who are part of the Riding Section of Bank Austria Credit Anstallt. We also will be offering some excellent Most (Pear-Apple Cider) and Schapps, along with some morsels of very good smoked ham (Speck)! Yummy! Breeding season is underway here, and we'll be keeping you posted about any new foals awaited for next Spring! Look for new picutes from the Wels Horse Fair, and Magic's baby later on today (tonight?).
04.06.04 Life moves on, and we had a great time at the International Wels Horse Fair! Rescue Me and Lark did great jobs representing the Curly Horse (except for one incident in the very BIG arena in which they got excited). Otherwise they presented themselves very calmly and correctly. We have some pictures for you, and will be also loading up more in the next few days (as soon as Norea's friends, Bettina and Karin, get them to us!) In the mean time, we have a couple of shots taken by Erwin below. We want to thank again everyone who helped make the Wels presentation a success: Norea and Nici were definitely the center stone for the whole event, while Heide and Bettina really helped us out in a pinch on Friday when everyone else didn't get time off work! Bettina and Karin did a great job giving Nici, Norea and Karen some relief on Saturday when the energy was running low, and Erwin did a super job with coordinating emergencies. We would like to thank everyone who came by and visited us! Remember we were very very busy and so if we had only a few minutes to spare before the next show, please understand! We are STILL WAITING for Magic to foal, the suspence is killing us! It is breeding season at Curlies Austria, and Clooney is getting experience now. Rescue Me was his first liason. They both did a great job and now we are excited to find out if she took. We know this match will be a great one! Glory will be the next for Clooney. Lark and Magic will be bred next month for late foals. And, the two year olds will wait until late winter 2005. We had a lot of action on Windy Sue in the last couple of days. We enjoyed meeting Fr. Hemdl out of Germany, and we wish her luck with her new stallion. She expressed interest in Windy Sue, who she said looks much better than her pictures in person! Got to get new pictures on the sight. However, it didn't work out for her, and so it appears Sunnybrook has instead sold Windy Sue to another lady in Germany. Windy Sue will be making her journey northward in the next couple of weeks. We had a wonderful visit from Nicole Schuster out of Linz! She saw our brochures at the Wels Horse Fair and since she missed seeing the horses at the show, decided a drive out to us was a must! She herself owns a Noriker which she rides western style! She enjoyed very much seeing the Curlies despite all the rain! It's been raining 3 days straight here. 16.05.04 We are very sad at Curlies Austria today. Glory's foal passed away this morning. He was such a cutey and really won our hearts and we will miss him. We are letting the experts work on how this happened, but it is for sure that he was unable to nurse properly to start and this hindered a good start for him. Glory is doing well considering all the stress she has been through, and will be coming home most likely tomorrow from the intensive care station where she and her little one were brought on Saturday night. We did all we could to help him and Glory, with four vet visits and finally a drive to the intensive care clinic. Please wish us well in recovering from Glory's loss. 15.05.04 Late last night we took Glory and foal to the intensive station about an hour away. Glory had problems and also the little foal, so we rushed them out there. We're waiting to hear on how they are doing. We had some great visits today! Erwin Csekits and his very nice wife, from the Riding Section of the Bank Austria Creditanstalt, came by to see the Curlies! We very much enjoyed their visit and look forward to their coming in June with their Riding Section. We expect between 35-40 people, very interested in horses and breeds, and are excited to have this opportunity to present our Curlies. Erwin's brother's family came by to visit too, Julia (niece), Florian (nephew), Gisela (sister-in-law) and Julia's riding intructor, Helga! Helga has some very lovely breeding quality Fjord horses which Julia has been learning to ride on for many years now (even though she is still young!) We enjoyed a very nice chat and it was lovely to enjoy some conversation and needed relaxation. 14.05.04 Glory foaled! It appears to be a colt (boy) and he's very lovely. He has a broad blaze like Glory and two white hind feet. His color is hard to guess at the moment (either sorrel or palomino). He appears healthy as does mom, but he is still searching for the milk! Wish us well with him. We'll update more further as the situation develops. 13.05.04 This weekend is the Country Music fest in Neukirchen and we are all looking forward to going! Let's see, what's new at Curlies Austria? Well, no foals yet, we are still waiting. We brought Clooney up to the farmhouse the last week, but he was a little too rambuncious with the pregnant mares so he got a trip to where the roundpen is and will stay there for some training until the mares foal. Billy Jack is now in a Bacherlor Band of horses (all males) and will stay there over summer teaching the guys everything that he learned in the wild herd in Montana! He's doing great and is one of the most mild-tempered stallions anyone has met! He is such a gentleman (unlike Mr. Clooney-man who needs a bit of a spanking!). Rescue Me is now by the trainer and Karen works with her as much as possible in preparation for the Wels Horse Fair. Lark has also been looking and riding great and we have some new photos for you today. Going to Walter's is really paying off, and an added benefit was he invited Karen and Erwin to a Country Bar, in Austria! With Line-dancing, the whole works. It was good fun and great preparation for the Country Fest coming up. We are looking forward to several visitors this weekend, especially the folks from the Riding Section of the Bank Austria Creditanstalt! Also, our niece, Julia, will be bringing her riding instructor by to see the Curly Horses. We are also excited about the upcoming Wels Horse Fair!
06.05.04 We have new horses listed on our For Sale page! We invite you to check out these fabulous horses. If you've been waiting for the right horse to come along, searching for that trained gelding, or looking for a breeding prospect nows your chance! We also have now listed prices for you, to make your decisions easier. We have updated images and the text for Classie Lass and Windy Sue too! We will be updating the German for sale page shortly, don't worry you won't be left out! Stay tuned as we add more updates to the site. We have a backlog of images and fun stuff coming up! New page added! We have added a page for Accomodation near Curlies Austria. Please check there if you are looking for a nearby place to stay. We also have this site in German under "Unterkunft!" 20.04.04 So much going on! We had a great time over Easter break with our guests from Italy and Germany. Elena and Mauro worked very hard at picking up ground skills in horse handling and the basics of Natural Horsemanship! Elena got on with ironing out some of her concerns with respect to riding, while Mauro took his first ride ever! *Rescue Me was a champ and worked carefully with our students. Barbara visited from Bavaria with her two children Johanna and Schorschi! Johanna and Schorschi spent every day riding at the local Haflinger Stables while mom, who is allergic to horses, took her first course in handling horses the Natural Horsemanship way and also her first ride on a horse! Barbara did great and we hope that our work together helps her in the future too. She recently purchased a 3 year old pony for the kids, so will use those horseman skills a lot! We would also like to thank Nicole, Marion, Julia, Heidi the Nussbaumers, Walter, and the Reiterhof Kainzleiten for making the week successful. In the mean time, Erwin has been building new fencing for the young fillies and the stallions have the winter pasture all to themselves now. We are still awaiting our foals, we can hardly stand it anymore! On Sunday, Karen joined this year's Georgiritt (St. George Ride) a traditional day for horses to be blessed. About 80 horses with riders and coach drivers gathered in the morning and made a parade through part of town to a local Riding Club's facilities. There a mass was held. Bettina and Marion actually drove over with Bettina's horses first to pick up Karen on Rescue Me, and they rode their way to the gathering place. Rescue Me was a bit overly excited so this made for strenuous riding. We cannot thank Bettina enough for helping out by riding together with Karen and making the day a great one! Nicole was actually part of the program after the mass and did a great job in the jumping show with her Haflinger, Vera! We'll have pictures of the Georgiritt from Erwin's digital camera soon. We also want to thank Thomas for helping Erwin out with various hard tasks on the pastures (moving 1000 liter water tanks, etc.!) We really appreciate the assistance. We can't forget to mention Norea's hard work helping us organize our presentation at the Wels Horse Fair! We'll be making more announcements on this shortly and we had a very nice meeting on Saturday with her friends, Bettina and Karin, who will also be assisting us! We have also heard from the folks at Bank Austria in Vienna! They will be visiting us with about 40 people in June! 09.04.04 Life at Curlies Austria is running at an amazing pace! We are very excited to announce that *Lark is doing great under saddle. Karen has been working with her and Walter several days a week and today they were walking and trotting around the roundpen. Great feeling. And, Erwin was there to take images! We'll have them for you soon. Not only that, but Karen started riding *Rescue Me again, she goes like a champ and is so happy to be ridden after her 6 months recooperation. Thanks go to Nicole, Norea and Marion for assistance and Thomas for being guinea pig beginner rider. We are getting ready to move all the young horses up to the Farmhouse too, and will be building electric fencing for their new pasture, and tomorrow come our guests from Italy! They are coming just in time for a traditional Austrian bonfire Easter celebration at the Farmhouse put on by Alex (the son of the owner) so that should be a great party.
I forgot to mention that Norea came by the other night and we worked with the young horses to select a candidate for the Wels Horse Fair. It was pretty easy to decide, and *Jo Jo won the day. Not only is she the most curious and friendly, but she is also the most energetic. She loves to play and also does lovely on the hand movements without having to coax. She followed Norea at a trot as if to say, where are we playing next?! Norea will be working with her for the next few weeks preparing for the breed presentation at the Fair for the OeZP. Rescue Me will be our ridden candidate for the Stadl Paura folks. We are very excited about being there, so please keep us in mind and come by to say hello! Also, we are planning on printing t-shirst with the Curlies Austria logo on them for the people helping us out at the fair. If you would also like one please contact us and we will be happy to send you details.
01.04.04 It's Spring, so we have some new Spring images for you here! And, we have fixed the images of Lark and the Farm House. Have a look, because the shots are of the very beautiful scenery surrounding us here in the Salzkammergut! Things are getting very exciting around Curlies Austria! We are expecting our Easter Holiday guests soon and are preparing for their arrivals. We are also preparing to build our riding arena and are anxiously awaiting our new foals (Glory due in May, and Magic due in June?) Magic is getting bigger and bigger! We've moved Glory up to the farm house now too, so that she is in with Magic and Rescue Me. Glory is also getting more advanced in her pregnancy. That leaves the two year olds all together on the pasture, but we will be bringing the fillies up to the farm house shortly too and leave the two gentlemen to battle it out in a bachelor pasture until it is time to cover the adult mares. Did a lot of brushing today as all the young horses finally started shedding their coats! Clooney is a facinating light grey color now, but with darker grey legs, mane and tail. Very nice looking. He's also getting quite big. Time for him to refresh his training. Moon looked lovely shimmering in her fresh creamy summer coat. Rescue Me is doing well, and slowly getting back to her old self. She is very happy about seeing Glory again, since they were quarantine partners and best of friends when they arrived. Lark's training is progressing well with more steps forward with each session. Norea will be coming out this weekend to help decide which horse she would like to work with to present at the Wels International Horse Fair for us! We haven't decided yet, but it could be down to Jo Jo or Clooney, as Norea will be doing our "On the Hand" presentation. The presentation lasts about 5 minutes, and we need to select music to go with it. Any suggestions, please email us! It looks like we might actually have a date coming up for our Open House! Keep checking back here for more information as we finally settle it. It most probably will be in May, and we have a lot of wonderful things lined up for the Open House. We will make an announcement here and everyone will be invited. Note! We realize that the links to the images we put up for Lark and the Farm House were not working, so we are correcting that! As soon as they are functional we will post it here. (They are now functional!!!) 15.03.04 Karen and Lark get another good workout in the round pen out by Walter! Karen was pretty tired after this day's hour and a half session. Lark did great, she started following Karen all about the roundpen, and after a good 20 minutes work out with the plastic sheet in which Lark started out extremely nervous, at the end she let Karen rub it all over her. She also walked across it on the floor. Of course, Walter did all this before with her when Lark did her first two months of training with him, so this is all repeat work, but great training for Karen! We have had a lot of inquiries lately regarding Windy Sue. She will make a very good riding horse, with lots of stamina and big strides. We were so pleased with the trainer's assessment of her. She will be two years in May and can begin her ground work with saddle training in Fall, and can begin her saddle training then in Spring. Keep your eyes peeled here for new developments regarding Windy Sue. There aren't many like her in Europe and her current price is very well set. Keep your eyes out for more developments, we are working on setting a date for our Open House and we are looking forward to our Easter guests who will be visiting shortly. 13.03.04 Norea brought a couple of her friends by (Bettina and Karin)
to visit the Curlies! Bettina and Karin will also be helping out at the Wels International Horse Fair.
They will most likely monitor the horses, and pass out information to people who stop by the stalls. We
cannot thank them enough for taking interest in the horses and offering to assist us with the Fair.
We would also like to thank Norea for doing so much to help Curlies Austria! Norea, Bettina
and Karin all have horses that they have been leasing for years (8 to 10 years each of them). They
have a great deal of experience in presentation and showing between them. Norea has a wonderful
Friesian (her leased horse). His name is Nikolaas and you can see some gorgeous pictures of him here: Marion came by to visit and brushed Magic's coat. Magic and Rescue Me have nearly shed out all their lovely winter curls to their wavey summer coats. There's still a lot of fine hair shedding though, and we have tons of wool if someone would like to try spinning curly horse hair! Any takers? 12.03.04 Karen brought Lark out to Walter's today. Lark was very nervous and skittish in the trailer and came out in a sweat. Walter suggested that they work with her in the round pen to get her calmed down. Karen, under Walter's guidence, worked Lark on the very basics, starting from the beginning ground work. Lark did well, and Karen got a good workout too! Here are some photos of Lark and Moon just before Lark headed to Walter's. We also have some shots of the farm house where we've leased 6 hectares of pasture! 10.03.04 The day of the trainers! Called Walter Lukas, our Western trainer, about Lark. We had picked her up last month or so thinking she might be in foal as she was getting pretty thick around the middle. But, while with us she trimmed down to an excellent weight and condition (so it seems Lark wasn't used to the hay and feed and put pounds on at Walter's). In any case, she doesn't look in foal and so we suggested returning her to Walter's for more training. Problem is, Walter just had knee surgery! Walter suggested Karen come out four times a week and do the training under his supervision. A wonderful offer which will help Karen build up skills in Natural Horsemanship. Thanks Walter! Walter wasn't the only trainer involved today! Martin Fischer from Stadl Paura came out to see the Curlies! He works with a variety of horses at Stadl Paura in their daily training. Having looked over our stock, he picked out which horses he felt would be suitable for Classical training (so Dressage/Hunter). The Cypress girls: Glory, Jo Jo and Windy Sue were considered Sport horses. Billy Jack needs to be checked again when he has grown a bit more, and Clooney, although looking western in his body type, actually had movement more suited to Classical training. We did not ask about Lark and Moon who are already being directed toward Western disciplines. Most amazing is, Martin saw the Cypress girls running in a pack down the hill, and he said, that horse in the back that's a dressage horse! It was Windy Sue! Way to go Windy! She's still growing by the way, and is so tall! 09.03.04 Rescue Me spends the day indoors, she appears completely normal once more. 08.03.04 A bit of a shock today, Rescue Me suffered from a circulatory collapse most likely due to extreme weather changes and also exertion. She got herself over excited in the turnout area with Magic and galloped about. When Karen brought her into the stall, her temperature was low and she was not responsive. After an hour or so, her temperature was still dropping, a call to the vet, a few shots later, some intense moments as the medication began working, and a couple of more hours set her straight. It appears that her stall confinement so that the wound could heal has made her over excited during turn outs, so we have to watch her carefully. As soon as the snow is gone, Dr. Kaun has suggested we return her to the pasture. This should be good psycologically for Rescue Me and allow her to return to normal. We would also like to very much thank Nici for coming out in the evening and helping assist with Rescue Me! 07.03.04 Barbara Kyle and her partner came by to visit the Curly horses. She is nearly finished with her Paedegogic Studies with an emphasis on riding and is interested in helping to build up a program to assist young people with social problems via therapy riding. We had an excellent visit and look forward to future developments with Barbara. 06.3.04 Norea Pichl has offered to help us with our presentation and stall at the Wels International Horse Fair! After meeting together, Norea and Karen have worked out technical details with respect to bringing the Curly horses to the fair. ("Don't feed the horses" signs are a must! says Norea.) It is a great help to have support, since people with allergies cannot stay in the stall areas for long periods of time, thus Karen and Erwin are greatful for the assistance. Nicole Sprikler will also be assisting at the Fair. 05.03.04 Karen attempted to take a coach driving course (horses) and had a great time in the lectures. She had second thoughts though when she found out that the driving part of the course required the most time, and was afraid her allergies wouldn't hold out hours in the carriage behind normal horses. There may be plans to train one of the Curly horses to drive, possibly allowing allergy sufferers the chance to take a course. 28.02.04 Karen and Erwin made a Curly trip to Germany! Driving up to Frankfurt to pick up a saddle they imported, they met up with Karen and Marian who imported two Curly geldings from Canada. While there they had a chance to chat with Gary from Sunnybrook, and watch Marian do his first bucking bronco rider practice! Way to go Marian! Didn't phase him a bit. Given the horses had just arrived after a long trip, they were very calm and pleasant. Afterwards, Karen and Erwin headed down to the Schwarzwald (Black Forest, Germany) to visit with the breeder, Gaby Kaercher. Here they enjoyed the company of Gaby and her trainer Dagmar for the evening (and a great meal!). The next day was chilly but found Erwin in the morning wandering about the corrals amongst the horses before breakfast. Feeding time came, and they had a chance to look over the new Warrior horses. Then came breakfast! After breakfast, they had a wonderful ride out with Gaby into the forests. Although a chilling wind wanted to ruin things, the forest protected the riders. It was Erwin's first real ride, and he did an hour and a half in the saddle without problems. We all had a great laugh, as Gaby and Karen rode at a walk, and Erwin would fall way back there, then get his horse to trot or canter up to catch up! It was a super first ride! Thanks Gaby for a great, if short, time! 24.02.04 Carnival! In Austria it is the last day of Carnival. We have provided a link to images and an explanation of local traditions during this time. We would like to share with you the regional culture where Curlies Austria is located! Please enjoy our festive pictures! Carnival nearby Curlies Austria!
16.02.04 Hr. Dr. Zechner from Stadl-Paura lets us know that we may bring one of the Curlies to the International Wels Horse Fair for presentation! We are very excited about this and would like to thank Dr. Zechner for all his assistance. The International Wels Horse Fair will take place from the 20th to the 23rd of May! So, please come out and visit us at the fair! We have also been invited to provide a program for consideration to the Linzer Horse Festival, a CSI Jumping Tournament. We will be presenting our proposal and then it will be determined if we will be accepted. The Linzer Festival will be during the previous week. We will keep everyone posted about the dates and whether we are included! Please note! We were lucky enough to get a new digital camera and will be present new images and movies of the horses shortly! So, keep yours eyes out for new stuff! 15.02.04 Fam. Zierler comes out to visit and enjoy some of the evening relaxing with the horses! *Rescue Me eats up all the petting from Julia and Florian, while *Magic eats up all the carrots! *Magic is not very cuddly! 14.02.04 It was crappy weather for it, but the guys were able to repair the roof on the old stall to stop the plastic from flying up and letting water drip in the corner. The stall is now roofed over, and dry (well, if the stallions would quit marking their territory in there it would stay dry!) Thanks Erwin and Thomas for fixing the problem! 12.02.04 Barbara Moser writes to tell she and her children, Johanna and Schorschi, will come for Easter! We are very excited about their stay with us, the riding we will be doing, and look forward to enjoying this time also with Elena and her friend, also coming during the Easter holiday from Italy. 10.02.04 The Winterauers come by to visit us! Isabella is working on her Diploma Thesis on Hippotherapy (therapy using horses with the handicapped) and thinks the Curly Horses would be ideal to include in her thesis work! She has her own horse and enjoys visiting our Curly bunch very much. We would like to thank Isabella and her mother for coming by and look forward to reading about the Curly Horse in her study. They aren't the only ones who come by, toward the end of the evening Mr. Schiffbänker brings a saddle by for us to test out, he's our neighbor and has some lovely horses himself, Pintos! Thanks for bringing the saddle by, and we should also thank Walter for putting the word out on the saddle search. Nearly three months (the 15th) after her operation, *Rescue Me is put in the riding area (larger than the little paddock she had before) with *Magic. It is the first time she is allowed to join another horse. The reason was that the doctors were afraid she would fight with other horses and open up her wound by slipping or kicking. It was so wonderful to see her relax and calm down as soon as *Magic was out there with her. *Rescue Me has been overly excited being outdoors at any time, *Magic's company and cool, lazy manner really helped *Rescue Me enjoy her time outdoors. Thanks *Magic! 08.02.04 Norea and Volker come by to visit! The weather has been bad all week, and tonight is no exception. Out on the pastures a cold, strong wind blows and the horses are hiding out in their stalls. Back at Webersdorf it is more conformtable, but still cold in the large stall. We all enjoy a chat while the evening meal is served to *RR Rescue Me and *Magic. 02.02.04 Dr. Zechner from the Upper Austrian Breeding Association in Stadl-Paura comes out to visit the Curlies. We are working with Dr. Zechner on developing the Austrian Studbook for the North American Curly Horse. He looks over all the various horses we have and poses questions. In the coming weeks, our studbook will be finished, and the horses entered. (Remember a Studbook is not a Registry!) The Studbook is based upon work done by the ICHO Genesis Committee's findings and proposals. 01.02.04 The Leitners from Grassberg come to visit bringing a Reining saddle for us to look at. We test it on *Magic, *Lark, and *Glory. We enjoy the visit and the saddle is also nice, we need to find a moment when we can test out the seat too! 31.01.04 *Lark is still very nervous after her move from Walter's back to the pastures. Walter comes out and realizes also that she just hasn't settled down and works with her for an hour and a half showing Karen how the training should proceed. More work for you Karen! 28.01.04 Walter, our trainer, calls and says *Lark is looking a bit plump. It might be she's actually in foal, so he feels after two months training it is time to take a break and see if she plumps out more! It could just be the extra feed she was getting during her intensive training period. We'll have to see! Anyway, Karen drives up to Walter's and picks up *Lark returning her back to the herd at Curlies Austria. *Lark goes in with the mares, but they start a lot of fuss, they all have to be split up to stop the fighting. *Lark and her daughter, Moon, go into a pasture together, and the Canadian Sorrel sisters, Jo Jo, Glory and Windy Sue go into another pasture. The stallions are moved over to the old stall, and all are happy as larks with the arrangement. 24.01.04 *Rescue Me doing well, she is allowed to go out again during the riding lesson while *Magic gets her work out under our student! Norea, a friend of Curlies Austria, offers to help us out when it comes time to do some shows. Thanks Norea! Barbara Moser and her two children, Johanna and Schorschi, take a trip from Bavaria out to visit us and the Curlies! They first visit Jo Jo and the gang at the pastures, come to Webersdorf (the Farmland we are leasing) to watch a riding lesson and then head up the Grassberg mountain to find the Reschenwirt restaurant for a late afternoon meal. Thank you Fam. Moser for coming!21.01.04 *Rescue Me still has a bad cold, we call the vet and he suggests giving her warm water and to wait it out if she doesn't have an abnormal temperature. 17.01.04 *Rescue Me gets turned out for a longer period of time. She runs about like crazy enjoying herself, kicking and romping and punching the air. However, she is soaking wet afterwards and get a cold from all the excitement. Time to invest in a sweat blanket for her! 10.01.04 Marion begins her riding lessons with us, although she's an experienced rider, it is her first time trying out Western Riding! She does a great job and gets the hang of it toward the end of the lesson. 07.01.04
03.01.04 Riding lessons! Our first riding lessons begin, congrats go to Marylin who has allergies but spends a successful first lesson on *Magic without any reactions! |
